Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your bundt cake pan thoroughly. (Check out my tips for perfectly prepping a bundt pan!)

Step 2: Mix & Stir
Mix the first six cake ingredients together in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in those delicious chocolate chips 🍫.

Step 3: Bake
Pour the batter into your prepared bundt pan and bake for 45-50 minutes. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack. Run a butter knife around the edges to loosen the cake, just to be sure it doesn’t stick! 🧁

For the Cream Cheese Frosting

Step 4: Beat & Fluff
Beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar and mix until smooth and creamy. Adjust the sweetness with more powdered sugar if needed.

Step 5: Frosting Fun!
Spoon the frosting into a pastry bag (or use a ziplock bag with the corner cut off). Start at the outer edge of the cake and squeeze a line of frosting up and over, pulling into the center hole of the bundt cake. Repeat all around the cake 🎨.

🍰 Serve & Enjoy!
Store your frosted cake covered in the fridge for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months for later indulgence.
